Melissa Thomas
Manager, Corporate Partnerships

Education:
George Washington University: B.A. International Affairs

Melissa joined Conservation International's Center for Environmental Leadership in Business (CELB) in October 2004 as an intern for the corporate partnerships and marketing teams. In September 2005, she assumed a full-time position as coordinator of corporate partnerships. In this capacity, Melissa provides staff with due diligence research for companies that CI is currently engaging. She also provides administrative and database support to the corporate partnerships team.

Prior to her work with CELB, Melissa had previous experience with CI from 2002 to 2003 as an intern with the Center for Applied Biodiversity Sciences (CABS). In CABS, Melissa assisted Dr. Lee Hannah with his work editing the text Climate Change and Biodiversity (Lovejoy & Hannah, Yale UP, 2005).
