CEMEX

Our partnership with CEMEX is focused on supporting biodiversity conservation efforts and raising awareness about conservation issues.

  • CEMEX supports CI's work in the Gulf of California, allowing the continuation of efforts to preserve one of the most unique and biodiverse marine ecosystems in the world.

  • CEMEX has joined CI to communicate information about biodiversity conservation, reaching multiple audiences, by publishing a series of books including: Hotspots, Megadiversity, Wilderness, Wildlife Spectacles, Hotspots Revisited, and Transboundary Conservation.

  • CI Serves on the advisory board of CEMEX's conservation model, El Carmen project. Located in Mexico, it is aimed at creating a long-term preservation plan for ecosystems, species and biological corridors. El Carmen is part of the largest and most biodiverse conservation area in the world that spans an international border.
