Our partnership with Intel Corporation focuses on climate change issues and provides overall support for CI's biodiversity conservation efforts.
- Did you know that sunflowers draw lead from the ground, leaving behind healthier and more fertile soil? Intel is following that example with groundbreaking new technology that eliminates lead from manufacturing processes. To celebrate, the company is calling Second Life avatars to help sow a field of sunflowers on the virtual Intel Island. For every virtual sunflower you plant, Intel will donate real-world $1 to Conservation International – up to $10,000 – and you’ll earn a chance to win a laptop or other prizes! Help out by jumping into virtual reality!.
- Intel is a member of the Climate, Community & Biodiversity Alliance, a group of companies and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) committed to developing tools to combat climate change, while contributing to biodiversity conservation and sustainable development. Find out more
